The Anglo-Japanese band Santa Sprees have been advancing the art of unpopular song since the year dot making questionable progress from the low-skilled, no-fidelity, no wave and bedroom hollers of their earliest cassettes to the largely futile primitive avant-bubblegum and microtonal doo-wop of today. They have released nine collections to date on a trail of defunct labels and media.
