Oliver Cross is a 24 year old disabled, neuro divergent composer, musician and film maker living in Preston, Lancashire. He works in the genres of folk, classical and electronic music. Oliver’s main instruments are harmonicas, bass harmonicas and analogue synthesizers.
Oliver is a member of Paraochestra and Friends and the National Open Youth Orchestra. He is also an Associate Musician with Drake Music.
In January 2021 Oliver received one of Sound and Music’s COVID-19 Composer Awards:
“I am delighted to be awarded this grant by Sound and Music. I’m going to use it to get some proper online training in using DAW Software platforms and music technology. I’m really looking forward to being able to use them more effectively to enable me to translate my ideas into music”
