JP Waksman is a music composer, producer and sound-designer living in Scotland.
JP, a highly trained classically instrumentalist with a deep love for sampling and electronic beats, has crafted a distinct and emotive sound that has graced stages worldwide and attracted commissions from numerous event agencies and media production companies. Their sound spans opulent orchestrated works, to pulsating electronica. They also release music under their own name where they explore emotion and atmosphere, weaving lyrical melodies with visceral beats and beautiful delicate ambience.
In July 2021 JP received one of Sound and Music’s COVID-19 Composer Awards:
