Aileen Sweeney

Aileen Sweeney (b. 1994) is a Scottish composer, accordionist and arranger from Glasgow.

Her music is cross-genre, rooted in the traditional Scottish folk music she grew up with learning the accordion. Her music often explores subjects she is passionate about such as the climate crisis, equality and politics.

Aileen was part of the Adopt a Composer cohort 2019.
