Our audience engagement programme works to build and grow audiences for new sound and music, through highlighting diverse stories, digital content, artist-led touring, data-driven campaigning, online events via our digital venues, and partnerships across the UK.

Through an innovative and open approach, we aim to challenge perceptions, remove barriers and enable more audiences to explore, access, enjoy and create new music.

Applications for Composer-Curator 2021 are now closed.

Since 2015 we’ve been supporting outstanding projects across the UK that are curated and produced by composers and music creators. These projects are centred on live and digital performances, which celebrate new forms of experimental new music or sound art, and that engage audiences in new and innovative ways.

We work with a diverse range of guest curators and writers, contributors and collaborators, to open the collection up to the community and to showcase the composers and stories behind new sound and music.
