Part Time (6 months) Digital and Communications Assistant – Sound and MusicĀ 

ThisĀ is an excitingĀ opportunity within Sound and Music’s Audience EngagementĀ Team, providingĀ temporaryĀ communications support across our digital platforms,Ā communicationsĀ channels andĀ public-facingĀ projects, workingĀ alongside the Communications and Sales Coordinator and other colleaguesĀ including theĀ Audience and Insight Executive andĀ Head of Digital and Audience Engagement.Ā Ā 

The postholder willĀ play a key role inĀ assistingĀ theĀ Communications and Sales Coordinator inĀ the successful delivery ofĀ our daily, public-facing, communications to maximise reach, engagement and impactĀ with our varying audience segmentations includingĀ Curious Listeners,Ā Young People,Ā Educators and Composers.Ā This will include assisting with creatingĀ engaging onlineĀ copy andĀ designingĀ content for our multiple social media platforms, websites and newsletters,Ā liaising with teamĀ members from varying departments to scheduleĀ and prioritise organisationalĀ announcementsĀ and identifying opportunities for advertising.Ā Ā

Digital Engagement Manager – Music Patron

Music PatronĀ is an ambitious new online platform that will connect composers directly with patrons. The DigitalĀ EngagementĀ Manager is a new role for Music PatronĀ withinĀ Sound and Music. This is an excitingĀ and evolvingĀ opportunity forĀ anĀ curious,Ā entrepreneurialĀ andĀ data-drivenĀ individual, with excellent communications skills,Ā toĀ set the direction and leadĀ Music Patron’s digital engagementĀ strategy.Ā We’re looking for candidates who areĀ keen to join us on this start-up journey as we take Music Patron fromĀ conceptĀ Ā toĀ Ā reality. Perhaps you have a background in a non-arts field and are keen to bring your skills, experience, innovative approachĀ and creativityĀ into a musical context. Or perhaps you already work in the arts, but wantĀ toĀ useĀ yourĀ audience-facing,Ā marketing,Ā technologicalĀ andĀ business skillsĀ in a digitalĀ start-up context.
