Led by IKLECTIK, Platform Asia and East Street Arts, this open call invites Yorkshire-based sound artists and musicians to a two-day spatial sound mentoring programme (13 & 15 May 2026) at Patrick Studios, Leeds.
Participants will develop 3D sound work using a 16-channel Ambisonics system, receive mentoring from IKLECTIK, and present at a public listening session, with travel and per diem support included.
This opportunity is open to sound artists and musicians aged 18 or over, based in Yorkshire or within approximately one hour of Leeds (e.g. Manchester).
Applicants should have an active practice in sound or music (any genre) and some experience in composition or live performance, with a working knowledge of audio software such as Reaper, Ableton Live, or similar.
This is an intermediate-level programme for those interested in developing their practice in spatial sound who are open to collaborative learning.
